Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted his team regretted the failure to achieve full points in the Premier League game against Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday (28/11/2012). Even so, he considers a score of 1-1 was a fair result.
Arsenal went ahead through Theo Walcott when the game was barely a minute's walk. The hosts equalized thanks to a goal Marouaen Fellaini in the 28th minute.
"This is a game that requires physical qualities and we need something special to get a point. However, we regret some things well," said Wenger.
"In my opinion, a fair point because both sides played with high commitment. Everton is always dangerous and we need to focus on the good and concentrate on not conceding a goal. Regret is we should have done better on the counter-attack in the second half," he said.
With the addition of a point, Arsenal dropped to seventh with a value of 21. They lost five points ahead of West Bromwich Albion in the fourth position.
